Imagine there is a bank which credits your account each morning with N86,400.00, carries over no balance from day to day, allows you to keep no cash balance and every evening cancels whatever part of the amount you had failed to use during the day. What would you do? Draw out every kobo, of course! Well, everyone has such a bank. Its name is TIME.

Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever of this you have failed to invest to profitable use. It carries no balance. It allows no overdraft. Each day, it opens a new account for you. Each night, it burns the records of the day. If you fail to use the day’s deposits, the loss is yours.

Today is one of such days, how do you intend to make the best use of it? Each day wasted is destiny truncated. The Lord expects us to invest our time wisely. Part of each day of our life must be purposefully dedicated for refreshing our spiritual union with God. Another chunk of our day should be dedicated to profit making. While another portion of the day should be committed to service to God and humanity without forgetting to devote time for rest, recreation and reunion. However, we must not forget that the best use of time is to invest it in that which will outlast this life.

CONTROLLING THOUGHTS:
Time is too precious to be wasted; it must be wisely invested.

PRAYER:
Lord, teach me to always use my time wisely.
