ARE YOU PRAYING IN THE HOLY GHOST❓

Memory Verse:
Jude 1:20

MESSAGE:
There is something about PRAYER that is worth our attention today. It has to do with adding intensity to our prayers. It is about heating up our prayers to the point that it is almost certain that it’s answers are GUARANTEED. It is called “praying in the Holy Ghost.”

Praying in the Holy Ghost is praying in the language of the Holy Spirit. It is praying by the promptings of the Spirit of God. It is the dimension of prayer that digs deep into the mind of God. It is the kind of prayer that is characterized by fervency and perseverance. It is praying with God’s hotline.

Praying in the Holy Spirit is the type of prayer that builds our faith and guarantees our inheritance in God. It produces supernatural results. It is the quality of prayer that Demons and forces of Hell cannot dare to withstand. It is one of our biggest Christian privileges.

❗Are there cases that are seemingly stubborn?
❗Are you getting faint and lukewarm? ❗Are there some situations that are threatening your peace?
❗Have you prayed and it appears that the answers are not coming?
❗Is your faith going down for whatever reason? … God’s word is encouraging us to start praying in the Holy Ghost. Please spend quality time today praying in the Holy Ghost.

CONTROLLING THOUGHTS:
Praying in the Holy Ghost produces amazing results.

PRAYER:
Lord, help me form the habit of praying in the Holy Ghost.

TOPIC:
IS SAUL AMONG THE PROPHETS❓

Memory Verse:
1 Sam. 10:11

MESSAGE:
The surprises  expressed by the people when they heard Saul prophesy seems to suggest that there is more to being a prophet than prophesying. In fact, for repeating the question, “Is  SAUL also among the prophets?” One should be left to maintain the claim that the hood does not really make the monk.

Being a prophet of God requires that one will first of all be a child of God. And then in answer to God’s call to service the person will dedicate his or her life to prayer, walking with God solitude, living a life of a moral rectitude, developing a courageous heart and labouring in His vineyard. Unfortunately, Saul could not really answer that question.

Assuming YOU are being posed with the same question today, what will be your response? Certainly, our generation is in dire need of true prophets. Our nation is the way it is today because genuine prophets are scarce. There are voices that declare without fear or favour the mind of God and provide direction for destiny fulfilment.

Can it be truly said that you are one of God’s prophets? Is anyone doubting your Christianity? It is time to prove them wrong.

CONTROLLING THOUGHTS:
Prove that you are among the prophets.

PRAYER.
Lord, help me prove to my generation that your hand is truly upon my life.

TOPIC: ARE YOU STILL IN MARRIAGE CRISIS❓

MESSAGE:
God principle about marriage is that couples should move out of their parents homes and establish their own. Many marriages would be improved If this secrets were carefully followed.

📌*Secret 1*
Everyone you marry has a weakness. Only God does not have a weakness. So if you focus on your spouse’s weakness you can’t get the best out of his or her strength.

📌*Secret 2*
Everyone has a dark history. No one is an angel. When you get married or you want to get married stop digging into someone’s past. What matters most is the present life of your partner. Old things have passed away. Forgive and forget. Focus on the present and the future.

*📌Secret 3*
Every marriage has its own challenges. Marriage is not a bed of roses. Every good marriage has gone through its own test of blazing fire. True love proves in times of challenges. Fight for your marriage. Make up your mind to stay with your spouse in times of need. Remember the vow *For better for worse*. In sickness and in health be there.

*📌Secret 4*
Every marriage has different levels of success. Don’t compare your marriage with any one else. We can never be equal. Some will be far, some behind. To avoid marriage stresses, be patient, work hard and with time your marriage dreams shall come true.

To get married is declaring war. When you get married you must declare war against enemies of marriage. Some enemies of marriage are:
Ignorance
Prayerlessness
Unforgiveness
Third party influence
Stinginess
Stubbornness
Lack of love
Rudeness
Laziness
Disrespect
Cheating
_Be ready to fight to maintain your marriage zone._

*📌Secret 6*
There is no perfect marriage. There is no ready made marriage. Marriage is hard work. Volunteer yourself to work daily on it. Marriage is like a car that needs proper maintenance and proper service. If this is not done it will break down somewhere exposing the owner to danger or some unhealthy circumstances. Let us not be careless about our marriages.

📌*Secret 7*
God will always give you that your heart Desire in the form of raw materials in order for you to mould the person to your taste. This can only be achieved through prayer, love and Patience

*📌Secret 8*
Getting married is taking a huge risk. You can not predict what will happen in the future. Situations may change so leave room for adjustments. Husband can lose his good job or you may fail to have babies. All these requires you to be prayerful otherwise you might divorce.

*📌Secret 9*
Marriage is not a contract. It is permanent. It needs total commitment. Love is the glue that sticks the couple together. Divorce start in the mind and the devil feeds the mind. Never ever entertain thoughts of getting a divorce. Never threaten your spouse with a divorce. Choose to remain married. God hates divorce.

*📌Secret 10*
Every marriage has a price to pay. Marriage is like a bank account. It is the money that you deposit that you withdraw. If you don’t deposit love, peace and care into your marriage, you are not a candidate for a blissful home.

TOPIC:
ARE YOU AMONG THOSE WHO KNOW THEIR GOD❓

Memory Verse:
1 Kings 18:24

MESSAGE:
in 1816, Dr. G.S. Faber in his book titiled the Origin of Pagan idolatry shows the identity of Baal with the Hindu deity Jagan Nathan, who is represented by his followers as wrapped in profound meditation, sometimes sleeping and sometimes taking long journey. Elijah taunted the prophets of Baal when he likened their god to Jagan Nath.

Praise the Lord, the God we serve is not like Baal. He does not slumber nor sleep (PS. 121:3). He can never be lost in meditation. The Psalmist calls him, “The ever-present help in times of need” (Psalm 46:1). He revealed Himself to Abraham as the El-Shaddai, the Almighty (Gen. 17:1), the Promise Keeper (Gen. 21:1) and Jehovah Jireh (Gen. 22:14 KJV). As the mountains surround Jerusalem, that is how He surrounds His people. To John the beloved, He was revealed as He that holds the keys of David (Rev. 3:7); He whose name is True and Faithful (Rev. 19:11).

Are you facing any form of spiritual contest? Is your faith being challenged? One thing that will guarantee your success and testimony is the assurance of who God is. David saw Him as the God of his past victories and by that assurance he faced and defeated Goliath. Rest assured in whom your God is. It was this assurance that emboldened Elijah to challenge the prophets of Baal.

They that know their God will always be strong and do exploits.

PRAYER:
Lord, may I always remember who You are to me.

TOPIC:
ARE YOU REAL OR IMPERSONATING❓

Memory Verse:
1 Kings 14:6

MESSAGE:
Impersonation is one act that is gradually eating the moral fabrics of our society. A lot of people these days pretend to be what they are not. Some people pretend to be rich when they are not. Many pretend to be Honest and Humble when they are not. Worsening it still, others pretend to be born again when in truth they are only being religious.

What we do not usually realise is that it is futile to impersonate another person in the presence of the Holy Spirit. This was what King Jeroboam and his wife perhaps did not know. So they were caught up in the trick.

When was the last time you attempted disguising yourself claiming to be what you are not and pretending to be someone else? If you will be sincere enough, you will admit that every act of impersonation is a loss of self-confidence and identity. And when the person is caught, the consequences are pathetic.

Who knows if the King and his wife had been sincere whether God would have shown them greater mercies? Of course, God is always merciful to those who are sincerely penitent. We should also pray to be as discerning as prophet Abijah: though physically he was almost blind, yet his spiritual antennas were very sharp and connected. And thus he was not deceived by the impersonator.

CONTROLLING THOUGHTS:
Living a fake life will always prove disappointing at the end of the day. Always
Note that the worst deceit is self deceit

PRAYER:
Lord, please help me to over coming all the trappings of pretense.
