Message :
The greatest and most relevant knowledge all humans require to excel in life is the knowledge of the Most High God. That is the foundation for receiving all life’s requirements: salvation, eternal life, prosperity, good health and a lot more. That also means that anyone who lacks knowledge of Him cannot receive salvation, eternal life and many other benefits that follow.

According to our passage, Peter’s mother – in – law received the miracle of healing because she had invited Jesus in, she and her family. The centurion received back his precious servant alive and in good health because he believed in Him. The leper was cleansed because he drew near and touched the Master and his leprosy left him. He drew near because he knew Him. No one draws near to a total stranger. He had the knowledge of Christ, he drew and the miraculous healing took place.

Another benefit is that of security. Our key verse says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” That means, you become indestructible when you know Him. Heaven puts a seal of approval over your life and all you lay your hands to do. It also provides you with divine acceptance because of the seal upon your life.

One preacher said, “It is wisdom to know Him but it is greater wisdom to dig deep and draw nearer in a bid to know Him more.” Do you know Him? Can you boast of really knowing Him? What benefits can you share boldly with an unbeliever today that you have derived from knowing Him that can also impress your Master upon your listener? Are you stopping at the little you know about Him and the little benefits you have? Don’t stop! There is a depth you are yet to taste, a height yet to attain and a lot more benefits for you to grab. Ask Him to reveal Himself more to you on daily basis for therein lies all your life desires.

PRAYER:
Pour upon me, Oh Lord, the hunger to know you more every day of my life. Amen.

Pentecost day -The promised power

PENTECOST DAY-THE PROMISED POWER

MESSAGE:
One of the biggest trade shows in the world is the annual Consumer Electronics Show hosted by the consumer Technology Association each year in Las Vegas. More than 180,000 people browse booths filled with the latest gadgets, tools, and toys put on display by hundred of vendors. The show in January of 2018 featured an unusual and unwelcome interruption – the electricity went out for more than two hours. Without power, none of the devices worked, no matter how advanced and how cutting edge they might be.

The Christian Life and our work for God depend on power, and that power does not come from us. The instruction that Jesus gave to His disciples was to not attempt to begin their work until they had received the promised power: “And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me” (Act 1:4) There are many sincere, dedicated, and devoted people who are not seeing the kind of result they want from their ministry because they are not operating in God’s power.

The Holy Spirit is given to every believer at the moment of salvation. But there is an ongoing process of allowing His Power to flow through us “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the spirit” (Ephesians 5:18). There is no shortage of power on God’s part. His ” transmission lines” never go down. Ask Him to empower you today. This year’s Pentecost Day should mark another season of power encounter for you. Don’t miss it. The promise is also for you.

Effective work and ministry can only be accomplished through the power of the Holy Spirit on our lives.

Lord, I don’t want to experience power failure, I need a fresh impartation,
