Message :
Champions are superstar. They are the ones who hold first place in contest. They are people who are dazzlingly skilled in any field; people who have won first place in competitions or people who fight for good cause. David was qualified as he was one of such people.
From the above scripture, there are vital issues that stand out on the emergency of David as a champion. The same is true on the championships of others. They include:
📌 The opportunity was universal.
📌The knowledge of the benefits wasn’t hidden.
📌 The deadly threat was prohibitive as it was a suicide mission.
📌 The line of demarcation between the Victor and the vanquished was very slim.
WHY DID DAVID EXCEL?
The following are some of the reason he excelled:
📌 The world is ready to remember those who can solve her numerous besieging problems, the colour of such people notwithstanding.
📌 He was prepared ahead of time, not one minute launch pad.
📌He was a passionate producer not an armchair theorist.
📌The motivation could have been external but his strength came from within.
📌 Those who are neither hot nor cold are objectionable to the Lord.
📌The way we handle negative things that happen around us determine the result we produce in life.
📌 Every problem looks like it’s solution. Goliath started fighting from his youth and the legend- killer David was but a youth.
📌 Goliath trusted himself and his god and David trusted the God of Israel and himself ( vs. 34-35)
📌 It is problem that produces champions.
📌 The list of champions never ends.
Can you be enlisted with the CHAMPIONS?
CONTROLLING THOUGHTS :
Anyone can emerge as a champion if he/she pays his/her dues.
PRAYER:
Lord, grant me the inner strength to be resolute and to act on my personal convictions . Amen.
