Message:
The beauty of relationship is the reign of understanding and forgiveness. So long as we are still wearing flesh, we are all prone to offending people both consciously and unconsciously. But, troubles often start when we tend to have no regard for the feelings and hurts of the people we offend. When we put up such attitude, it affects people’s responses to us. Those who lack the courage to confront us will naturally hold their grievances and withhold whatever favours we might ever get from them. This poor relationship attitude is more detrimental when we bring it into our relationship with God.

The princes of Judah were adjudged to be like those who removed ancient landmark. In other words, they had violated the most scared laws of God upon which the ordinances of His worship and the rights and properties of men depend. They broke down the barrier between what was right and wrong; between truth and falsehood (Deuteronomy 27:17). Now rather than acknowledge their offences and plead for God’s mercy, they took the path of callousness. And consequently, God vowed to return back to His abode until they acknowledge their offences and sought His face.

Many sick and ailing relationships would be healed today, if the concerned persons accept to acknowledge their offences. This is exactly what the Lord will have us to do today.

CONTROLLING THOUGHTS:
It takes humility to say, “I am sorry.” But, these three simple words can unlock a lot of closed doors.

PRAYER:
Lord, give me the courage and humility to admit it when I am wrong.

Message :
Some people make prayers they never receive answers and they wonder why it is easy to look at our current situations and wonder why things are happening the way they are. We wonder why the relationship didn’t work out; why the promotion went to someone else, or why the business deal did not go through. We can only see one moment at a time, but God knows how today’s situations will impact us in the future.

Sometimes, the best thing that can happen is the exact opposite of what we wished to happen at the time. God knows the end from the beginning, and He always has the sequence of events in our lives in perfect order. Stay in faith and trust that just as God opens doors, He also closes doors because He has something better in store for you. You are about to see new growth, new talents, new opportunities. Trust His wisdom because He is wiser than the wisest.

As you go out today, go with this song by Mari John Wilkin “One day at a time sweet Jesus, that’s all i’m asking from you; Lord help me today, show me the way, one day at a time.”

Message :
From the human perspective, ants are reputably among the tiniest insects on earth. Ants are too infinitesimal. We climb on them, crush them with the soles of our feet or with our finger – tips without even noticing. However, the text today reveals something special about the ants – they are meticulous and are always well – prepared . They prepare for their future so that they will not starve. How much of a planner are you? Do you live your life in a disorganised or shabby way? Really, this has nothing to do with your economic or spiritual status. How organised is your office, family, church and wherever you are in charge of?

You can achieve a lot more if you get more organised. Yes, you can, unfortunately, we live in a world that a typical person wants to lump up things and then later rummage the rubble. But as we look at the God we serve you will notice that we serve a God who is well organised. He created the heavens and the earth in an orderly pattern ( Genesis 1). God is not the author of confusion. He is a God of order. We therefore must emulate Him and be organised.

The truth is that one of the reasons we were not able to actualise some of our goals this year is that we were very much disorganised. One of the greatest favours we can do to ourselves as we approach the End of the Year is to take some time to organise our lives before we cross over into it New One, It is time to have an organised prayer life, financial plan, living and work environments. It is time to put things in order if we must move forward.

CONTROLLING THOUGHTS :
Do not spiritualize organisational issues.

PRAYER:
Lord,  I ask for grace to be organised in every aspect of my life.

HAVE YOU DISCOVERED THE BENEFITS OF KNOWING GOD❓

Message :
The greatest and most relevant knowledge all humans require to excel in life is the knowledge of the Most High God. That is the foundation for receiving all life’s requirements: salvation, eternal life, prosperity, good health and a lot more. That also means that anyone who lacks knowledge of Him cannot receive salvation, eternal life and many other benefits that follow.

According to our passage, Peter’s mother – in – law received the miracle of healing because she had invited Jesus in, she and her family. The centurion received back his precious servant alive and in good health because he believed in Him. The leper was cleansed because he drew near and touched the Master and his leprosy left him. He drew near because he knew Him. No one draws near to a total stranger. He had the knowledge of Christ, he drew and the miraculous healing took place.

Another benefit is that of security. Our key verse says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” That means, you become indestructible when you know Him. Heaven puts a seal of approval over your life and all you lay your hands to do. It also provides you with divine acceptance because of the seal upon your life.

One preacher said, “It is wisdom to know Him but it is greater wisdom to dig deep and draw nearer in a bid to know Him more.” Do you know Him? Can you boast of really knowing Him? What benefits can you share boldly with an unbeliever today that you have derived from knowing Him that can also impress your Master upon your listener? Are you stopping at the little you know about Him and the little benefits you have? Don’t stop! There is a depth you are yet to taste, a height yet to attain and a lot more benefits for you to grab. Ask Him to reveal Himself more to you on daily basis for therein lies all your life desires.

More knowledge of the Lord, more benefits.

PRAYER:
Pour upon me, Oh Lord, the hunger to know you more every day of my life. Amen.

MESSAGE:
There was nothing wrong with the eating, drinking, marrying, and giving in marriage in Noah’s days except that the people had become totally preoccupied with these activities to the neglect of the spiritual dimension of life. There was also nothing wrong with the buying, selling, planning and building in Lot’s days except that they were carried out by sinful methods.

What seems to have been fundamentally wrong in the days of Noah and Lot was that men made these the sole interests of their lives. They thought of nothing but the personal pleasures, property and material profits they were getting. They were so much absorbed in the things of this world that they had no time for God. It displeased God and He brought judgement upon them.

Brethren, people tell from emphasis we attach to things whether we have set our affections on things above or we are primarily attached to this world? We are not supposed to be carried away by the craze for riches, social demands and daily anxieties. We must not forget the fact that Jesus is coming again.

CONTROLLING THOUGHTS:
Our love for God and His kingdom should make us more heavenly conscious.

PRAYER:
Lord, help me to live daily in the consciousness of Your second coming.
